On Wednesday, May 14th, Kellogg Elementary School will reveal contents of its time capsule at the school’s 12:45 Flagpole Assembly.

Kellogg Elementary invites all former students, teachers, parents and community members to join them in celebrating “50 Years of Excellence” in the Goleta community. Buried in the 1963-64 school year when the school was first opened, former school community members are encouraged to be present during the ceremony and then attend a reception in the multipurpose room following the assembly from 1:30-2:30.

Visitors will need to sign in at the office upon arrival. If you are interested in sharing a short presentation with classrooms or being part of the assembly, please notify the school immediately. School tours will be available from 9:00-11:00 on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. The school Chalk Art Festival will run Thursday, May 15, from 12:45-1:50 and the “Peace, Love, and Paw Power” Carnival and silent auction will run from 3:00-7:00PM on Friday, May 15.

Interested persons are encouraged to contact either the school office at (805)681-1277 or PTA President, Yvette Ensign, proudmarinemom70@gmail.com or PTA Anniversary coordinator, Nicole Katz, katzfam@cox.net .
