The Santa Barbara Construction EXPO is coming to Santa Barbara Fess Parker Doubletree Resort on Friday October 4, 2013. The one day event is open to Contractors, Builders, Specialty and Sub-Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Designers, Building Officials, Developers, Real Estate and Construction Industry Professionals. The Santa Barbara Construction EXPO 2013 is presented by the Santa Barbara Contractors Association (SBCA), a California Nonprofit Organization.
Santa Barbara Construction EXPO provides professionals with the latest technological innovations, cutting-edge building products, product demos, high powered seminars on green and high performance buildings, and networking.
For the first time the SBCA will host a special “Meet the Generals” breakfast to kick off the Santa Barbara Construction EXPO. This is a business development opportunity designed exclusively for the Construction EXPO 2013 attendees. Representatives from industry leading agencies and contractor firms will be available to discuss upcoming projects, qualifications to bid, and their business philosophies and practices. Featured speaker and industry expert, Justin Wilson, will conduct three-part educational sessions on High Performance Building Fundamentals: Building Science Principles (Session I and II), and Marketing & Selling High Performance Homes (Session III). Justin Wilson is a managing partner with Construction Instruction (Ci), and his area of expertise is in creating highly advanced energy efficient buildings through high performance process integration, implementation and testing.
Established in 1948, the Santa Barbara Contractors Association is a 600+ member non-profit organization comprised of construction related companies committed to preserving the past and building the future of Santa Barbara by upholding values of integrity, craftsmanship and professionalism in their industry. The SBCA will also be celebrating its 65th Anniversary on Friday October 4, 2013 at the Fess Parker Doubletree Resort, starting at 7:00pm.
