HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program) will sponsor a free seminar for people interested in better understanding Medicare benefits and recent changes. The Medicare Plans and Changes presentation will be held, Thursday, November 14th, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A. M. , hosted by Santa Barbara Village, at 524 Chapala Street in Santa Barbara, CA .

“HICAP is offering this presentation to help people with Medicare and their caregivers better understand this comprehensive health care program and current changes”, announced Karen O’Neil, President, Board of Directors, Central Coast Commission for Senior Citizens.

Topics will include a general overview of Medicare Open Enrollment Choices and Changes and recent changes related to the Affordable Care Act.

HICAP is pleased to partner with Santa Barbara Village in presenting this important information to the community.
