The rehearsal period will take place during a 3 week performing arts camp held M-F July 15-August 2, 9am-noon at the Lompoc Civic Auditorium. Students will learn acting, dance, singing and live performance skills from seasoned professionals, complete with brilliant costumes, lights and live accompaniment. Students of all ages learn hard work, teamwork and make lasting friendships. Performances of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will be August 2, 3, 9, 10 at 7pm at the Lompoc Civic Auditorium.

Founded in 2009 by director Joyce Mayhew, LYT seeks to supplement school curriculums with professionally taught Performing Arts classes, workshops and productions. Last summer’s heartwarming production of The Music Man was enjoyed by large audiences. All Lompoc Youth Theater workshops and classes are funded entirely by participants and community member donations.
