Monies Raised will help support his Cancer Treatment and Quality of Life
Mike Burroughs, Santa Barbara Travel Bureau’s Ventura office manager for five years has Multiple Myeloma. The owners and staff of Santa Barbara Travel Bureau want to contribute to Mike’s ongoing medical treatment and help him have a more comfortable life. There will be a raffle drawing to help raise funds. Grand Prize is a trip for two to Hawaii: 3 Night accommodations at the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii and two roundtrip economy class air tickets. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event and can be purchased in advance at Santa Barbara Travel Bureau’s State Street and Ventura offices. Tickets are $10 per ticket. Winner does not have to be present to win the Grand Prize. Join us at REDS Wine Bar on Wednesday, July 17, from 5:30pm – 9:00pm. REDS is located at 211 Helena Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
Mike Burroughs is a very special guy. In addition to having booked Santa Barbara and Ventura residents to some of the most exotic destinations in the world, Mike is a devoted son and father to Paul, a student at Buena High School. Both Mike and Paul share a passion for baseball, fishing, and savoring gourmet food, which Mike enjoys cooking. He has an unrivalled zest for life which unfortunately has been complicated with cancer. His cancer treatments are expensive, and most of it is not covered by insurance. Please join us and help Mike at this challenging time. All monies will be donated directly to Mike’s medical costs.
