Das Williams to Chair Four Assembly Committees

Das Williams, Santa Barbara’s state assemblymember, will serve on four Assembly committees this year, speaker John A. Perez announced recently. Williams will service as chair of the Higher Education Committee and also sit on the Education, Natural Resources, and Utilities and Commerce committees. The former Santa Barbara city councilmember was re-elected in 2012, and the 2013 session officially got underway January 7.
