Apparent Suicide in UCSB Dorm
Body of 20-Year-Old Male Student Found Tuesday Afternoon
The body of a 20-year-old male UCSB student was discovered Tuesday afternoon in a dorm room at the San Rafael Residence Hall. According to Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Kelly Hoover, the death appears to be the result of suicide, but authorities continue to investigate the case. Toxicology results are pending. The man’s name has not been released.
