Member growth and surging popularity of CrossFit left Traver Boehm and Eric Malzone, owners of CrossFit Pacific Coast, with an enviable problem. After four years in business and a location change just a year ago they found themselves in need of more space. Rather than picking up and moving their entire gym to another location, they were able to work out an arrangement with their neighbor to take over their lease. The expansion and build out was completed earlier this month, and has doubled their available workout space to over 6,000 square feet.

CrossfIt Pacific Coast has always strived to offer innovative classes, including hybrid classes like KickFit that combines kickboxing and CrossFit training, but with limited space came limited times that classes could be offered. With two rooms and twice the space, they can now offer multiple classes at the same time. In addition to additional classes and programs, CrossFit Pacific Coast will be able to expand their private and team training options. Regarding the expansion Traver Boehm said, “Ultimately, more space, means more options for our members, and a wider variety of classes being offered at times that people can attend.”
