The historic Dos Pueblos Ranch Casa Grande gardens will be the venue for the 39th Annual Awards. The event honoring awardees features live music, taco truck with salsa bar, a talk on the Historic Trees of Casa Grande by Dr. Robert Muller, co-author of The Trees of Santa Barbara, and a silent auction.

We will have a taco truck with homemade tortillas, a salsa bar, and a no-host bar. Dr. Robert Muller, Co-author of the Trees of Santa Barbara, will be giving a short talk on trees, highlighting some interesting characteristics of the diverse trees at Dos Pueblos Ranch. The Casa Grande will be open briefly for tours, which is decorated in period furniture and contains lovely woodwork and details. The event will also feature a silent auction with many wonderful items donated by local businesses, including passes to Disneyland, a two –night stay in a King Suite and breakfast for two at the Bacara, a one-night stay in a Creekside Queen Cabin at El Capitan Canyon, Kayak or Stand-up Paddle board rentals at Goleta Beach from Channel Islands Outfitter, items for your garden, and gift certificates to local restaurants. This fundraiser will help support Goleta Valley Beautiful tree planting, care and educational programs. The UCSB Bren Grass Band will provide live music. The event is generously sponsored by the Rudi Schulte Family Foundation, the Mosher Foundation, Camino Real Marketplace, Marborg Industries, and Rabobank. You may register to attend the event here or call GVB at 685-7910 for more information.
