Two Day Class: Fundamentals of the Buddha’s Teaching

Karma Trinlay Rinpoche is beginning his 2013 North American tour in Santa Barbara. Over the course of the year, the entire set of his teachings will cover the classic Buddhist text “The Way of the Bodhisattva”.

Session 3: April 21: (Sunday am – 10-noon) Different Theories of Karma

Session 4: April 21: (Sunday pm – 2-4pm) Karma in Buddhism: Interdependent Origination

About the Teacher

Karma Trinlay Rinpoche was born to an American mother and a father who was a member of the French Parliament. He was one of the first Westerners to be recognized as the rebirth of an important Tibetan Buddhist teacher and underwent traditional spiritual training in India as a young child. Trinlay Rinpoche returned to France as a teenager where he pursued Western studies of philosophy, history and philology at the Sorbonne, as well as other universities. Fluent in English, French and Tibetan, he has taught at Buddhist centers throughout the world and is highly regarded for his multi-cultural perspective, precise approach and charismatic style. Trinlay Rinpoche lives in Paris with his American wife Giselle.
