The Santa Barbara International Film Festival has named Robert De Niro as the recipient of the 2012 Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film. The Academy Award-winning actor, director, and producer will be presented with the award on Saturday, December 8, during a black-tie gala at the Bacara Resort & Spa.
