Songwriting for Soul

Then join Emily Yurcheshen on a six-week journey into your creative heart. It begins Sat. Oct. 27 with a free demonstration from 2-2:45 at Notre Dame School located at 33 East Micheltorena St. Through songwriting, vocal play, improvisational theater, movement and art, you will uncover the songs and stories that are hiding in your heart. You will be introduced to the basic components of songwriting such as structure, rhythm, chord progressions and melody. Ten years ago Emily Yurcheshen was guided on a healing odyssey around the world to discover the songs and stories of her soul. Now she guides many along the path to their musical dreams.
