Sandy Strands Mock Trial Team

The Dos Pueblos High School Mock Trial Team reached the national final of the Empire City Invitational World Championship in Brooklyn last week. The contest was scored by real New York attorneys and judges, and the Dos Pueblos team lost by a single vote to La Reina High School from Thousand Oaks. Currently, all 34 participating teams are stuck in New York due to Superstorm Sandy. The La Reina and Dos Pueblos teams, school reps say, hope to work together to raise money to pay for their extended stay.
