Southern California Edison crews are working to restore power to 407 downtown customers who lost electricity at around 1:30 p.m. More than 4,000 South Coast customers went dark at first, said an Edison spokesperson, but the company switched automated systems to cut that number down. Repairmen are working to isolate the issue, the cause of which is unknown, and the company should have an ETA on full restoration soon, said the spokesperson.
