Last month, The Santa Barbara Independent put out a call to artistic types to create their version of Saint Barbara, the patron saint of our seaside town. We received heaps of submissions in all sorts of media. It was a tough selection for the judges, but in the end a winner was chosen, as well as three runners-up.

Please tell us how many entries there were. Inquiring minds would like to know...
And have you considered a "showing" of the entries or at least some of them, maybe at the Faulkner Gallery or possibly the County Admin. Bldg. lobby?
