Downtown Sound Semi-Finals Lineup Announced
Eight Acts, Two Nights, One Chance for Rock ‘n’ Roll Glory
This past Saturday we announced the eight bands that will move on to the next round of our annual Downtown Sound Battle of the Bands. Today, we give you the much-anticipated lineup. Over the course of two nights (October 11 and 12), these eight acts will battle it out live onstage at Velvet Jones and SOhO. And the two bands that receive the most audience votes by the end of the night will advance on to the Downtown Sound finals, slated to take place Thursday, October 20 at SOhO.
On Tuesday, October 11 at 8 p.m., Retrodemon, False Puppet, Blue Suns, and Islay Street share a bill at Velvet Jones.
On Wednesday, October 12 at 8 p.m., Little Owl, Ralph Torrefranca, Saint Anne’s Place, and Carried By Six play SOhO.
Tickets are $5 in advance at newnoisesb.com or $8 at the door, with all proceeds benefitting the New Noise Music Foundation and The Living Room.
