Book Sale

This Saturday, two S.B. libraries are having sales of select stock. At the downtown library (40 E. Anapamu St., 564-5611), folks can choose from myriad tomes — including signed and first editions — as well as posters, plays, photography, and original 1930s art. Over at the Montecito branch (1469 E. Valley Rd., 969-2333[tk]), shoppers will find lots of cookbooks as well as volumes about gardening. Proceeds from sales benefit each library. Only cash or checks will be accepted. Get some holiday shopping done early, perhaps. Stop by the libraries Saturday, November 5, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (downtown); 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Montecito).
