The 2011 S.B. Historical Arms and Blade Show makes its way to Earl Warren Showgrounds (3400 Calle Real) this weekend. Sponsored by the S.B. Historical Arms Association, the exhibit will feature museum-quality displays of historical firearms, knives, and other weaponry. During past Arms and Blade Shows, the Arms Association has displayed U.S.-made arms and armor dating as far back as the late 19th century—as well as items originally produced during and prior to World War II. The show runs from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, July 17. Tickets are $2-$8 (free for kids under 16 and uniformed military personnel); minors must be accompanied by an adult. Call 646-6290 for more info.
