Last year during this travel period, more than 13,000 passengers traveled through the Airline Terminal. Visitors to SBA during this time should be aware of on-going construction at the Airport and adhere to all posted speed limits and caution signage to ensure a safe holiday weekend. As a reminder; fireworks are prohibited and should be left at home.

Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and give themselves 90 minutes to two hours prior to their flight departure time to find parking, check their luggage and go through the security checkpoints to reach their gate. For the latest travel tips and security requirements visit www.tsa.gov.

As SBA continues construction in the Terminal vicinity, passenger drop-off and pick-up space at the front curb is limited. Additionally, the walkway between the Terminal and the rental car building has been recently reconfigured to pass directly in front of the new Terminal building construction. The Airport is working hard to minimize impacts to passengers while at the same time completing Phase II of the new Airline Terminal project which will provide more services and amenities to the traveling public. The new Terminal is expected to open for business in August.
