The Boathouse reigned supreme yesterday at the Inaugural Santa Barbara Chowderfest held at the Montecito Country Club. They took home a custom designed bronze trophy which they get to display this year until next year where they earn it again or they hand it off to the winner of next year’s competition.

Competing against 26 other restaurants, Boathouse received a unanimous vote of confidence from the three judges. The judges were Scott Leibfried, part owner of Arch Rock Fish and sous chef on Fox Network’s show, Hell’s Kitchen, John Pettitt Executive Chef of Seagrass Restaurant and John Dickson, The Restaurant Guy.
