Goleta Standing Naming Committee

The City Council of the City of Goleta invites you to submit an application to serve your community on the City of Goleta’s Standing Naming Committee.

One (1) appointment will be made to the Naming Committee. To be eligible to apply, candidates must reside within Goleta City limits. Members of the Committee are appointed annually.

Here’s an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to your community by serving on the Naming Committee to advise the Council with regard to matters involving the naming of City parks, park facilities, open spaces and City buildings.

Goleta Planning Commission

The City of Goleta is currently accepting applications from citizens who are interested in serving on the City of Goleta Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is a five-member advisory body with responsibility for the orderly development of the City and administration of the zoning and subdivision ordinances. The Planning Commission conducts at least one regular meeting on the second Monday of each month.

One (1) appointment will be made to the Planning Commission. To be eligible to apply, candidates must reside within Goleta City limits and be a qualified elector. Members of the Commission are appointed to four year terms which expire at the first regular meeting of the first February following the expiration of the current term of office of the City Councilmember who appointed the Commission member.

Applications/Deadline: Applications may be obtained from, and must be returned to, the City Clerk, Deborah Constantino, City Clerk, City of Goleta, 130 Cremona Drive, Suite B, Goleta, CA 93117.
