Carole King, James Taylor, and Tickets for Charity are teaming up to raise some serious cash for the National Resources Defense Council. During the pair’s May 18 show at the S.B. GIFT GIVING

The Santa Barbara County Arts Commission recently received two paintings, Ralph Auf der Heide’s Courthouse Concert and Tom Huston’s Global Warming Postcard #3/20 Butterfly Lane West of Biltmore, both of which will be hung in the County Administration Building in the coming weeks.

SHOW ME THE MONEY

The Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts (PCPA) recently won a $25,000 award, granted by the National Endowment for the Arts. The money will be put toward underwriting PCPA’s production of West Side Story, as well as their ongoing outreach programs. Visit pcpa.org for details.
