The Dos Pueblos High School Engineering Academy was once again on the receiving end of good will, as local Jeff Elings announced this week a $100,000 challenge grant for the construction of the academy’s new center on the DP campus. The grant, which essentially says that Elings will match up to $100,000 worth of donations made to the construction efforts between now and June 30, already has some $35,420 pledged toward its goal. The center is slated to be named after Eling’s father, Dr. Virgil Elings, who has ponied up $1 million for the building.
