Although wildfire season seems to keep creeping into the cooler part of the calendar, you needn’t worry about the smoke that might be coming off of Figueroa Mountain this week. That’s just a brush burn being carried out by the Los Padres National Forest, and it’s expected to go until May.

The brush, which is scheduled to be burned in the morning and early afternoon hours, are from 200 acres that were cleared in the region last year. Call 805-925-9538 for more information.
