Josh Johnson, the 38-year-old former Dos Pueblos High placekicker trying to become the oldest National Football League rookie ever, came up short in his attempt at a Combine last month. According to Johnson, it just wasn’t his day when he took the field against other kickers in Los Angeles. Johnson, who once kicked a 52-yarder in high school, went 2 for 8 in field goals ranging from 30 to 55 yards. Johnson now plans to pursue teaching English overseas.
