The Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, has elected seven board members for a term of three years and has appointed officers for the year. Full bios for all board members can be found here.

Officers for the coming year are listed below. The member’s name is followed by their employer and their hometown.

– Vice President: Mark Donovan –Bank of America – Oxnard

– Treasurer: Darcy Limosnero – County Commerce Bank- Santa Barbara

The following individuals have been appointed for a term of three years starting September 1, 2010.

Laurie Barene – Cox Communications – Goleta (Laurie is a current board member returning for an additional term.)

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. With a staff of only five and the help of more than 100 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties has granted over 1,000 special wishes to children in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties.
