Patricia Kelly to Superior Court

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today announced the appointment of Patricia L. Kelly to a judgeship in the Santa Barbara County Superior Court.

Kelly, 42, of Buellton, has served as a deputy district attorney for the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office since 2005. Previously, she served as a deputy district attorney for the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office from 1994 to 2005.

Kelly fills the vacancy created by the conversion of a court commissioner position on September 4, 2009. The compensation for this position is $178,789. Kelly is a Democrat.
