Add Yogurtland (621 State St., 564-8680, yogurt-land.com) to the growing list of frozen yogurt shops polishing new sets of stainless steel serving machines in Santa Barbara. The five-year-old franchise has a multitude of locations in California, Hawai’i, Nevada, New York, Texas, and Arizona. The concept is simple: 16 classic, tart, and sugar-free flavors at eight self-serve stations that are priced according to weight (a reasonable 30 cents per ounce) in the cup along with close to 30 different seasonal fresh fruit and dry toppings (cookies, cereals, candies, and more). Customers will be drawn to the attractive and upbeat contemporary design as well as the unique flavors rotating through the machines, from cookies ‘n’ cream, tiramisu, and gingerbread cookies to Madagascar vanilla and bananas Foster. Tart flavors range from plain to lychee and a sugar-free flavor favorite is the Mochaccino. Hoping to catch a late-night crowd on the weekends, the frozen treat shop will remain open until 12:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays
