    Two Shot and Killed

    Early Morning Mesa Shooting Under Investigation

    Two people were shot and killed on the Mesa early this morning, police said.

    Information is just being released about an apparent shooting at 621 Aurora Street around 1:30 a.m. Police received calls that five to six gunshots had been fired and, when they arrived, noticed a broken window in the second floor of the home.

    After attempting to call the cell phone numbers of the residents of the home with no response, the SWAT team was brought in. After making entry, authorities found two victims, both dead from gunshot wounds.

    No other information was immediately available, other than that the motive of the shooting was under investigation.
