Goleta 7-30

Groups supporting localized agriculture in the Goleta Valley met on 7/28 to encourage area residents to sign a petition prompting Santa Barbara County to help preserve existing ag parcels. Featuring a screening of Fresh, a film about the benefits of local food production, the event was focused on the Eastern Goleta Valley Community Plan, which was first drafted in 1993-before the City of Goleta incorporated-and is currently undergoing an update process.
