In the Ventura residence in the 6700 block of Telephone Road, detectives found more than 1.2 pounds of cocaine, one pound of processed marijuana and about $28,000 in cash. The cocaine, authorities say, was found in a children’s play tent in the bedroom of the suspect daughter. The residence was also within 1,000 feet from a school, and the man was arrested and is in Santa Barbara County Jail with possession and transportation of cocaine for sale, possession of a controlled substance for sale within 1,000 feet of a school, child endangerment and possession of more than an ounce of marijuana. He is being held on $150,000 bail.
