Yahoo!Emily Cobb, one of our advertising professionals, makes ads pretty for clients while she’s here, and she makes spaces and people pretty with her paintings and jewelry in her free time. She had a slew of interesting jobs before arriving as an Indy intern in November, from white-water photographer in Jackson, Wyoming, to astronomy camp counselor. This Colgate University, New York, grad considers herself “a nomad” but likes sunny S.B. enough that she’s been here for a few years. Next up: Cobb hopes to polish her Spanish and train to teach English, hopefully in South America, and to continue her work in artistic design. Two of her paintings are now on display at Muddy Waters (shown), and some of her jewelry creations are available at Blackbird.
