Wine, Dine, Dance, and Direct Relief

You’ve already missed your chance for the black-tie gala “Wine, Dine, and All that Jazz!” taking place at the Biltmore-it’s sold out, but if you want to be part of Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Foundation American Riviera Wine Auction Weekend 2008 with all proceeds benefiting Direct Relief International, you still can. On Friday, March 14, shout “¡Viva Vino!” at the DRI Warehouse in Goleta. You can dance salsa to Cuban band Somos Son, chow down on fine food by the easy-to-like likes of Hungry Cat, Brothers at Mattie’s Tavern, and Seagrass, and down wine from eight premier Santa Barbara wineries. There will also be a silent auction featuring wine lots and winery parties, fine dining, and exciting U.S. and international travel.
