This year’s version will be the 19th annual, and each year the Wine Cask provides us with a thrilling opportunity to taste and purchase the best of Santa Barbara County wines prior to release. Previous versions of this grand day offered up the first lovely sips of Sea Smoke Pinot Noir to the general public, so who knows what 2008 might bring? More than 100 wines, yummy nibbles, crowds a bit too big, but that helps add to the event-ness. Reserve a spot now at winecask.com for either March 29 or April 12.

Please note that this year's event will not feature Sea Smoke but will feature a number of great wineries, including perrenial favorites Jaffurs, Foxen, ABC, Tensley, Babcock, Beckmen, Kaena and a few new ones, including tercero, my own brand! Stop on by and say hi! Cheers!
