Unless you’re a monk who gets from place to place only on foot, your life is dependent on wheels. Whether you prefer driving your gas guzzler in the fast lane, cruising the bike lanes on your 10-speed, or taking the bus from home to office, you’re hooked on the all-important wheel. As a tribute to that reality, we’re offering up the second installment of wheel-related articles, ranging from electric three-wheelers and brilliant smart cars to old-school dragsters, lowrider taxicabs, and the good ole bicycle, which has a new Santa Barbara home at Bici Centro. So park that car or lock your bike, take your favorite chair, and prepare to read a few tales dedicated to highlighting our love and need for the wheel.
