Early Thursday morning, Sheriff’s Deputies served search and arrest warrants in the Tanglewood area of Santa Maria in connection with a July 27 attempted homicide in which two people were shot in a garage. Deputies stopped at two residences — 1918 Elmwood Drive and 2079 Sandalwood Drive — and arrested 20-year-old Francisco “Frank” Mejia Martinez and 20-year-old Christopher Richard Castillo. Martinez was arrested on charges of attempted homicide, assault with a firearm, discharging a firearm into an inhabited dwelling, and active participation in a street gang. He is being help at Santa Barbara County Jail on $1 million bail. Castillo was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and was booked into the county jail on $2,500 bail.

The Sheriff’s Department is requesting that anybody with further information regarding the July 27 shooting to call Detective Daniel Kies at (805) 934-6170.

Oh yes, I agree! Please report whether these guys are left or right-handed. I've heard lefty's are evil-doers. I need help to support my belief that their are too many lefty's in California.

Nice try Eastbeach but bad analogy - Leftmanship and rightmanship have nothing to do with whether a person is here legally or not. There are illegal leftys and illegal rightys. There are illegal Asians, Europeans as well as illegal Hispanics. This not a race issue as much as people like yourself would like to persist in making it one. It is not a question of anyone's personal attributes or characteristics, it is a question of how much the lack of immigration enforcement contributes to crime in the area. Stop with the tired race baiting, nobody with any intelligence falls for it anymore.

By the same token, there are legal leftys and legal rightys. Nobody has a problem with either unless they commit a crime, so how can this be a matter of race? Why do you think it acceptable to tolerate crime from illegal leftys (or illegal rightys for that matter) when they shouldn't be here in the first place? People with your tolerance of everything and anything and acceptance of law breaking (beginning with immigration law) is why the rest of us are forced to tolerate all of this.

Please cite an instance of anyone calling for tolerance of law-breaking by illlegals, RForsyth.

I think it would aid your premise greatly.

Tolerance of illegal immigration in the first place, is tolerance of lawbreaking. What is it about the "illegal" part of illegal immigration that people don't seem to understand? Illegal immigration is law-breaking. Allow that law to be broken and away goes respect for the law. Thanks for asking.

    [rasty buzzer sound]

    Sorry, that answer won't do!

Please provide citation to anyone calling for illegal immigration; your thesis rests on proving there is a constituency supporting the very fact of illegal immigration, which you insist on painting as a mainstream idea.

(Here's a hint, my friend: it's not -- not even by your antagonists, those Moronic Liberals.)

You're gradually shifting your request binkster. This tricky slight of hand may work in a verbal conversation, when taking advantage of one's doubt of their own short term memory, clouding the original question by slightly rewording it, but when the conversation is documented it doesn't work well.

    Your original request:

"Please cite an instance of anyone calling for TOLERANCE of law-breaking by illegals"

    Your slightly modified request:

"Please provide citation to anyone calling for illegal immigration"

There is a big difference. Settle on a question and I can settle on an answer.

Both of these questions are really straying from the issue I was addressing, which is TOLERANCE and ACCOMMODATION of illegal immigration itself, not tolerance of law-breaking by illegals, nor did I suggest that anyone is CALLING for illegal immigration , it is something that just happens when we allow it.

Illegal immigration is tolerated and accommodated by bi-lingualism, tolerance of brown supremicist "support" groups such as Casa de la Raza, Mecha all of which we TOLERATE. MECha basically discourages assimilation and wants to move the Mexican border North. They don't want to become Americans, in fact the term "Mexican-American" is despised. These are not people that are proud to be Americans or even want to be. They just want this to be part of Mexico. Probably a fair bet they support the idea of illegal immigration, since legal immigration requires you to learn what it is to be AMERICAN, including learning the language.

    See http://www.nationalmecha.org/about.html for the agenda
to reconquer the Southern U.S. (California, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Texas) returning it to Aztlan. Google Aztlan, Google MECha...then ask yourself who are the true racists. Answer your questions? Thanks again for asking.
