Yahoo!Owners of Morninglory Music, located on 1014 State Street, announced that it will close its doors by the end of August. Stan Bernstein, Morninglory’s owner, who opened his first record store in 1969 in Isla Vista — attributes the closure mainly to illegal music downloading. A going-out-of-business sale is planned.

Another small business owner bites the dust on State Street. Maybe we can get another Starbucks!!??
