• Have a swingin’ good time this 4th of July, with a patriotic-themed First Friday Swing Dance at Carrillo Ballroom (100 E. Carrillo St.). Park by the ballroom by 7:30 p.m., hop on a shuttle down to the beach to catch the fireworks, and then head back to dance ’til midnight to hip tunes from Rob Rio and the Revolvers.
