• Stitches from the Hearta nonprofit that donates knitted or crocheted blankets, sweaters, hats, and booties to newborns in need all over the countryneeds volunteers. Many newborns leave the hospital with little else than a diaper, but you can help by knitting items or donating supplies or finances to help cover the costs of shipping clothing to hospitals. • More than 20 amazing low-income and poverty-level students get to experience the magic of dance on scholarship at S.B. Dance Arts; they are changing their lives in positive ways by becoming more focused at home and in school, and staying off the streets. But the studio needs help to keep these students and hopefully invite more in need to the program! • The Make-A-Wish Foundation is in need of volunteers to help grant the wishes of terminally ill children in the Santa Maria and Santa Barbara areas. Due to the shortage of volunteers, several children’s wishes have had to be delayed, but by signing up, you can help make sure that no wishes go unmet!
