Supporters and donors gathered at the Sperling Preserve at Ellwood Mesa on 9/13 to unveil a donor recognition marker, recognizing the hundreds of people who donated money to purchase the 137-acre coastal bluff. The preserve, located in Goleta, is the winter home for tens of thousands of monarch butterflies, and will remain an open space forever. It is one of the most popular open spaces on the South Coast.
