Civil Suit Filed in Assault Case

A civil lawsuit was filed on behalf of a 42-year-old woman against Bruce Nelson, Solutions Rehabilitation Center, and Susan E. Hannigan, director of Solutions. The woman alleges she was sexually assaulted by Nelson, a former night-shift worker, while she was a patient there. No criminal charges have been filed against Nelson related to the plaintiff's allegations, but five charges have been filed against Nelson related to his alleged actions involving a 22-year-old victim. Nelson pled not guilty to those charges.
