Botanic Graden Development Work Denied

At its 9/10 meeting, the Santa Barbara County Historic Landmarks Advisory Commission determined that plans for a patio in the meadow of the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden are not in compliance with a county resolution. The 4,205-square-foot projectwhich was halted by the county weeks agowould have been on the former site of a large oak tree that was recently removed. The garden is reviewing its options in response to the decision.
