Nanotechnology Conference Held at UCSB

Insurance companies, industry representatives, labor leaders, and nanotoxicologists gathered at UCSB-which houses the National Science Foundation’s Center for Nanotechnology in Society-for a first-ever conference on Nanotechnology and Occupational Health and Safety to examine risks peculiar to nanotechnology labs and industrial settings. Nanotechnology is the design and manufacture of systems at the atomic and molecular scale.
