Final Tally In for City Council Race

Official results are in from the Santa Barbara City Council race. With a 37.1 percent turnout, the top three vote-getters remain the same, with incumbents Das Williams and Helene Schneider placing first and second, respectively. Challenger Dale Francisco kept his lead over the rest of the field to win the final seat. Current Councilmember Brian Barnwell moved into fourth, 38 votes ahead of challenger Michelle Giddens, when all the votes were counted.
