County May Get Federal Bridge Money

In light of the collapse of Minnesota’s I-35W bridge, the county Board of Supervisors convened on 11/20 to review a bridge inspection report issued by Caltrans, which inspected 96 of the county’s 122 bridges. Each bridge was graded depending on conditions and characteristics, and according to the report, seven of the bridges were deemed eligible to receive funding from the Federal Highway Bridge Program and Measure D for rehabilitation or replacement.
