Seeing opportunity in the oft-cited difficulty of recruiting executive talent to Santa Barbara, given the high cost of homes, real estate agent Ann Zafiratos had begun Show Me Around – what she describes as a “high end concierge service” offering moving assistance to larger companies and their prospective hires from out of town. For $110 an hour, Zafiratos will sell Santa Barbara to prospects, squiring them around in a chauffered luxury car, briefing them on the cultural offerings, and taking them to lunches while offering insight on neighborhoods, schools, and services.
