In view of the 200 revisions that the Goleta City Council is thinking of making to its General Plan, League of Women Voters representative Connie Hannah suggested that councilmembers focus narrowly on the housing element, since no city ordinances can be written until the plan is adopted. However, Goleta Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kristen Amyx encouraged the council to tackle the entire plan during September’s public workshops, saying her group counted only 67 revisions once duplications are subtracted.
