• The Children’s Neurobiological Solutions Foundation will host its first annual Bowling for Brain Repair charity tournament at Zodo’s Bowling and Beyond on Sunday, July 22. Participants are asked to register in groups of four or more. Entry fees are $100 per team and prizes will be given for highest score, team spirit, and biggest smile. • With fire season officially in full swing, horse owners throughout the county are being encouraged to plan ahead and get familiar with emergency evacuation procedures and protocol. On Saturday, July 21, the Santa Barbara Equine Assistance and Evacuation Team will hold a volunteer signup and barbeque at the Earl Warren Showgrounds from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Call 898-4484.
