Middle School Students Volunteer in Bolivia

For the fifth year in a row, a group of Santa Barbara Middle School students and their friends headed to the Bolivian Amazon as part of El Puente, a volunteer/fundraising mission that’s already raised $60,000 this year for the Rio Beni Health Project. This year, the mostly female group of 22 will be building water filters, working in the dental clinic, and trekking to native villages to spread goodwill and health support.
