Musician Oliver Lake will discuss his life on Wednesday,
February 21 at 11 a.m. in UCSB’s Lotte Lehmann Hall and on Friday,
February 23 at 2:30 p.m., in the Old Little Theater at UCSB. Lake
will then be featured in a Composer’s Forum on Tuesday, February 27
at 4 p.m., in the Old Little Theater. A Guggenheim fellow, Lake is
best known for his contribution to contemporary jazz, but is also a
poet, painter, and the artistic director of Passin’ Thru
Records.
